Caudell, and I serve as both the owner and forecaster. Five years ago, I started this
non-profit company to inform residents of Cashiers and it's surrounding areas the weather
through technology normally seen in larger cities. Since Cashiers is a small town in
Western North Carolina, they did not have the resources before hand to know of an
oncoming storm - or much less an accurate high temperature for the day. The nearest
television outlet for Cashiers is over an hour away.
This website is designed to give viewers the access to an array of current, live, and
future weather information twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Cashiers Weather
Service also offers other tools such as hurricane and winter weather centers to provide for
valuable information at different times of the year.

Throughout 2009, Cashiers Weather

Cashiers Weather Service also plans to

inform citizens who sign-up the weather at time
